This Warranty is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, disclaimers, and exclusions set forth below.
1. Residential Applications — Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
For qualifying residential applications, Cornerstone H.S.R. provides:
- A Limited One (1) Year Warranty covering labor and materials; and
- A Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covering qualifying workmanship-related coating failure after expiration of the initial one-year warranty period.
Residential applications may include:
- Garages
- Interior concrete flooring
- Patios
- Porches
- Walkways
- Pool decks
- Similar residential concrete surfaces
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is valid only while the original purchaser owns and resides at the property where the Coating System was installed.
For purposes of this Warranty, “lifetime” means the period during which the original purchaser owns and resides at the property where the Coating System was originally installed.
The warranty period begins on the date the installation is substantially completed.
Residential Coverage During the Initial One-Year Period
During the first one (1) year following installation, Cornerstone H.S.R. warrants the Coating System against:
- Defects in installation workmanship
- Material defects in products supplied by Cornerstone H.S.R.
- Peeling or delamination directly caused by improper installation
- Premature coating failure resulting solely from defective application practices under normal residential use conditions
Residential Limited Lifetime Workmanship Coverage
Following expiration of the initial one-year labor and material warranty period, Cornerstone H.S.R. provides a Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covering only peeling or delamination of the Coating System directly caused by improper installation workmanship performed by Cornerstone H.S.R.
This Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty:
- Applies only to qualifying residential applications
- Covers workmanship-related failure only
- Does not cover material aging or manufacturer-related product issues
- Does not cover cosmetic or appearance-related conditions including fading, discoloration, staining, scratching, gloss reduction, yellowing, or ordinary wear
- Does not restart, renew, or extend following repairs or warranty work
Under this Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty:
- The residential customer shall be responsible for all material costs associated with warranty repair, replacement, recoating, or remediation work performed after expiration of the initial one-year labor and material warranty period.
- Cornerstone H.S.R. shall provide labor for covered workmanship-related repairs at no charge to the customer, subject to the limitations contained in this Warranty.
Warranty repair coverage under the Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty is limited to:
- A maximum cumulative coverage area of 3,000 square feet; and
- Only those specific areas reasonably determined by Cornerstone H.S.R. to be affected by the covered workmanship-related failure.
Cornerstone H.S.R. shall not be obligated to recoat or replace the entire installation unless Cornerstone H.S.R., in its sole discretion, determines that a complete replacement is reasonably necessary to address the covered condition.
Cornerstone H.S.R. retains the sole right to:
- Inspect the claimed condition
- Determine the cause of failure
- Determine whether coverage applies
- Determine the appropriate repair method, repair scope, and extent of replacement required under this Warranty
This Warranty automatically terminates upon the sale, transfer, lease, or conveyance of the property or the original purchaser no longer residing at the property where the Coating System was installed.
2. Commercial and Industrial Applications — One-Year Limited Warranty
For commercial, industrial, or business-use applications, Cornerstone H.S.R. provides a Limited One (1) Year Warranty covering labor and materials.
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and begins on the date the installation is substantially completed.
During the warranty period, Cornerstone H.S.R. warrants the Coating System against:
- Defects in installation workmanship
- Material defects in products supplied by Cornerstone H.S.R.
- Peeling or delamination directly caused by improper installation under normal intended use conditions
No lifetime warranty is provided for commercial or industrial installations.
3. Maintenance Requirement
As a condition of coverage under this Warranty, the purchaser agrees to properly maintain the Coating System in accordance with any care or maintenance instructions provided by Cornerstone H.S.R.
Failure to reasonably maintain the coated surface, including the use of improper cleaning methods, harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or neglect of routine maintenance, may void this Warranty.
Cornerstone H.S.R. reserves the right to deny warranty coverage for conditions resulting from improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow recommended care procedures.
